Students have been especially kind with testimonials, and they have eagerly offered them to us which we greatly appreciate.  Choosing from the many is tough, here are two and there are dozens to follow as we build out the site!

I was excited to get into this program, but also a bit worried that there was too big of a learning curve to understand the technology of building a website. After I got into it, I found that the learning curve to create a website was not too bad, especially the way Professor Dave teaches it. I learned a lot about how to better market companies. And the importance of having a website, I never realized that much. My favorite part was how to create an online store and get a mailing subscription to work. I recommend this class to everyone – especially if they had a product they really believe in that they really did want to make into a business. Having the Founder’s Chair meetings with the others was a great part of the class it would have been nice to have even more interaction with the rest of the classmates in order for everyone to help each other out.

Originally I was not going to take this class because I didn’t have a competitive business idea coming into the class. I usually have this problem coming into entrepreneurial courses which has been difficult because a good business idea is central to just about every course. So after a couple weeks I still didn’t have an idea in mind and I decided to adopt an engineering student’s idea who pitched it to the class. Since I didn’t have an idea Professor Dave encouraged me to pick up this idea, so I did it. It seemed to make a lot of sense at the time. Unfortunately I wasn’t passionate or knowledgeable about the subject the business idea was centered around. This made it difficult to really get into the project. But as I started to learn all the tools necessary to get an online ecommerce store up and running very quickly, I realized that this stuff is pretty cool. I know now that If I have one of those “aha” moments in the future, I will be able to have a legitimate website up and running and making sales within a couple weeks. I learned the importance of customer interviewing. I learned how to start a customer list and facilitate an email marketing campaign. I gained some friends in both my fellow students as well as my instructor. Reflecting back now, I would 100% recommend this class to another student. I believe that in a short time this class teaches you how to easily get an ecommerce store set up. I recommend this class to all my fellow entrepreneurship students so that they will be able to become a serial entrepreneur just like I plan to become. This is a great class.
